Cottage. Mid-late C17 origin, renovated mid-late C20. Timber framed,
rendered and reed thatch half hipped roof. Ridge stack of grouped shafts set
diagonally, possibly with upper courses rebuilt. End to road and three
bays. Lobby entry blocked in C18 when bread oven inserted. Now restored.
One storey and attic. East front has three large modern dormers. Ground
floor windows are also modern. Range to west probably of-similar period.
Timber frame, rendered and reed thatch. End stack of red brick. Two bays.
Two C19 small pane casements in south wall. Inside: Inglenook hearths of
mid-late C17 with salt and spice ledges. Timber frame obscured or removed.
Some rafters visible. Range to west has end wall framing visible and
inglenook hearth.
