House, late C18. Stock brick with dressings of red brick, roofed with handmade
red clay tiles. L-plan, main range aligned approx. N-S, aspect E, service wing
from N end. One chimney stack at the junction, one at the W end of the service
wing. Beyond this last, single-storeyed extension with weatherboarding at end,
roof of red clay pantiles. Lean-to extension to S of it, forming a catslide
roof. 2 storeys with attics. E elevation, central 6-panel door, the top panels
glazed, in simple pedimented Doric porch. 4 double-hung sash windows of 12
lights with flat arches of gauged red brick, 5 similar windows on first floor.
String course at first floor level. Giant pilasters at corners. Parapet.
3 flat-roofed dormers with double-hung sash windows of 6 lights, hipped mansard
roof. S wall rebuilt in C20.
