Cottage. C18. Rendered and whitewashed; thatched roof, hipped to left, half-hipped
to right with a brick stack at the apex.
Plan: 2 rooms flanking a central entrance hall with a wide straight-flight
staircase. Room to left unheated. Room to right with a gable-end fireplace,
probably the kitchen.
Exterior: 2 storeys, 2 symmetrical bays, 2-light C19 casements with small panes to
left, large 3-light early C20 casements to right with horizontal glazing bars. Door
opening in the centre, half-glazed C20 door, shallow lean-to porch.
Interior: right ground floor room with a chamfered axial ceiling beam; fireplace
with a cambered wood lintel, oven with a cast-iron door.
