GV II

Garden walls and forecourt walls. Mid to late C19, incorporating some fragments of
older masonry. Stone rubble with some red brick dressings.
Three lengths of wall enclosing front garden of Woolleigh Barton (q.v.). High side
walls adjoining front of house, that to the right (north-east) retaining the adjacent
field. Low front wall with crenellated coping and 2 gateways, leading to each front
door. Long curved forecourt wall projecting to front at left-hand end.
Two gateways to front with square gate piers and late C19 wooden gates. Boarded door
in left-hand side wall, with wooden lintel. Top of right-hand side retaining wall
approached by flight of stone steps. Curving forecourt wall has square end pier with
reused crocketted pinnacle as finial.
