Three houses. C17, refronted and extended early C19. Timber-frame clad in
coursed rubble under a tile and slate roof. T-plan, cross-wing to south of
C19 is South Place, main range to north-west is C17. North-east front has
gabled blind cross-wing to left. Main range of two storeys with three windows,
two 3-light casements to left, a 2-light casement to right, all under segmental
heads of ashlar. Ground floor has two 3-light casements to left and a single-
light casement to the right. Three entrances, a glazed door to left-hand corner,
main entrance to Castle Green Cottage to left of two windows has another glazed
door. To right entrance to Stone Cottage has a four-panel door, the upper two
glazed. The south wall of the cross-wing has a central gable over the central
entrance to South Place. Framing visible in north gable end is two square panels
high to the first floor and has three struts to the collar with V-struts in the
apex of the truss.
