Part of house, now shop and flat. Early C17, refronted mid-C18 with mid-
C19 and some late C20 alterations. Timber-frame clad in brick with hipped
machine tile roof. Three storeys, dentilled brick cornice; one window:
originally a Venetian window, now a 4-light C20 casement but retaining
plastered head; second floor: 4-light casement under wooden lintel; ground
floor: shop window with square bay of eight panes to left, entrance to
right is pilastered with half-glazed door and overlight. Framing: some
exposed beams on ground floor, including a console bracket to former fist
floor jetty to right of entrance. The framing is integral with nos 51 and
52 (qv), and probably with no 49 (qv).
