GV II

House. Mid-C18 with some mid-C19 alterations. Brick with hipped tile roof,
dog tooth brick cornice. Two storeys with attic lit by three gabled dormers.
East front: five windows: 8-pane boxed sashes, except window to left of centre
which is blind; ground floor: two windows similar to above, to left-hand
corner an entrance with a pilastered doorcase, flat canopy and 2-leaf half-
glazed door; central entrance has wooden architrave, flat canopy on scroll
brackets, 2-pane overlight and door of six raised and fielded panels; to
right of centre another entrance with plain wooden architrave, had a flat
canopy (lost) on wooden brackets, with four flush panel door. Interior:
staircase has turned balusters and moulded handrail. Unoccupied at time
of survey (June 1985).
