by Mr Lawson


House and commercial premises. Mid to late C18. Coursed squared stone with
ashlar dressings, graduated stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays with 2-
storey bay on right. Main house: 3 stone steps to central 1/2-glazed double
door with overlight in stone architrave on plinth. Late C19 shop windows to
either side. First floor: 4-pane sashes, central window blind. Second
floor: 6-pane sashes, central window blind. All windows have stone
architraves and projecting sills. Shaped kneelers, stone coping to right,
roof hipped to left. End stack to right. Right bay: early C20 bay window;
8-pane sash above with plain stone surround.
