C18, early and late C19. Timber-framed house with later alterations, extensions, and
cladding: 2 storeys, 3 windows. Tile roof, massive tapered stack at one end, 2
within. Most of the front (west) upper wall has exposed framing, bricknogged with some
herring-bone panels, the ground-floor and north side having brickwork in Monk and
Flemish bonds, one rubbed flat arch, plinth. Sashes in exposed frames (small mullions
under the eaves, within a brick panel, indicate an early light). Doorway with moulded
canopy and 4-panelled door.
