SO 24 NE CLIFFORD CP PRIORY WOOD

2/101 Methodist Chapel

Non-conformist chapel. 1827 with late C19 alterations. Rubble, half-
hipped slate roof. South front: 2 sash windows under semi-circular
arches, a blocked door to left, also door in use to right, both with
segmental heads. Windows flanked by iron girders tied to similar girders
in north wall. Interior: re-arranged in late C19, with pulpit within
raised enclosure to west end. Datestone centrally placed: "CALVINISTIC/
METHODIST/ CHAPEL 1827".
