Farmhouse, now house. Early C17 with C19 additions, C20 alterations.
Timber-framed with painted brick infill on sandstone plinth; C20 tiled
roof to front, stone slate roof to rear. Three framed bays aligned east/
west with rear lateral stack, lean-to to front. Single storey and attic,
one 2-light casement window in dormer, one 3-light C20 window to left and
pair of single vertical glazing bar sash windows to right of gabled porch
with ledged door. Lean-to addition extends forwards to right of sash windows.
Framing appears largely complete, three square panels from sill to wall-
plate. V-struts in gable. Interior retains chamfered cross-beamed ceiling
and large open fireplace in main living room.
