House. C15 or earlier with C17 and later alterations and additions. Exposed
timber frame. Red plain tiled roofs, crosswing to left of main range, lower
range to right. Large attached shaft chimney stack to main range, tall chimney
stack to rear of right range, and a stack to left of left crosswing. 2 storeys
and attics. excepting right range. Crosswing jettied to front and left return
with end brackets. Arched braces to crosswing first floor, right bay of main
range, and right range. 1:3:1 window range of vari-light leaded casements with
Gothic heads, that to centre of main range a C20 oriel. Right of the main range
is a hipped porch and a door of 2 vertical panels with Tudor head. Formerly The
Shepherd and Dog Inn. RCHM 4.
