Detached cottage. C17 with later alterations. Stone with some cob, plastered, under gabled-end thatched roof. Probably a two-room, cross passage plan originally, with a C19 right-hand cross wing. Two storeys.

Front: three window range, all C20 two-light casements, mostly unbarred; porch to left of centre, under catslide thatched roof; glazed double door to wing gives into C20 lean-to conservatory. Left hand internal stack; axial stack at junction of main range and wing, probably formerly an end stack; both with brick shafts. Right hand elevation with one two-light casement window to each floor; rear with lean-to under asbestos slate roof.

Interior: axial beam to left-hand room with run-out stop; end fireplace with unchamfered jamb, and lintel.

Roof: three trusses to main range, crossed and side-pegged at apex, lapped purlins; the roof to the wing is completely C19.
