Milestone, C19. Square limestone shaft on concrete plinth. At the top of
each face a shallow pitched gable or pediment. On the east and west faces
are the distances to neighbouring villages in incised black lettering in
recessed panels with trefoiled heads. On the north face the distances to
the station, Yarmouth and Lowestoft and the inscription "Toll gate removed
1869". Corners of shaft probably originally chamfered, but now much
weathered and eroded.
