12/84 Pickwick Cottage

G.V. II

House. C15 and mid C19. Timber framed with brick facing. Pantiled roof.
2 storeys and dormer attic. Central door in fluted case. Sash to right and
C20 bow window left. 3 sashes to first floor, all with glazing bars. 2 storey
extension to north similar. Rusticated quoins at south return. Gabled roof
with 2 flat dormers and casements. Large central ridge stack on plinth.
Sash windows to south elevation with arched attic light. Outshut to east.
Privy tower with medieval openings and stair turret. Storey height timber
framing on interior survives in north on ground floor but complete above.
Close studding. Arched wind bracing in roof.
