House. C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed,
gault brick faced. Red plain tiled roofs. 2 storeys and attics amd cellars.
House with gabled crosswings, 2 storey range to left, one storey and attic
right range. Red brick chimney stacks to left of left gable, rear of main range
and forward of right range. Gabled dormer to main range and attic windows to
crosswings. 1:3:1 window range of vari-light casements with mullions, some with
transoms and labels. C20 door with top and side lights to left of central
range. Interior features include restored inglenook fireplace. Bedroom
fireplace with semi-circular back. C18 panelling in one room. Cast iron
firesurround. Pegged side purlin roof. Kitchen range to right with original
mantel beam, chamfered bridging joists with run out stops. RCHM 2.
