II

House. C16 with later addtions and alterations. Timber framed and plastered. Red
plain tiled roofs. Central and external red brick chimney stacks, that to right
with attached bake oven. 2 storey four bay main range with lower level range to
right and C20 gabled 2 storey crosswing to left. 2:4:1 window range of mainly small
paned vertically sliding sashes with horns in moulded surrounds. To left is a C20
gabled brick porch. Four panelled 2 light door. Interior frame with jowled storey
posts to ground and first floors, halved arched braces to walls, heavy stop chamfered
bridging joists and top plates. Crown post roof. RCHM 12.
