House. C18. Limewashed brick with black and red pantile roofs. U plan formed
by full-height wings projecting to rear of main block. Space between wings
subsequently filled. 2 storeys with attics. Facade of 5 bays of sash windows
with glazing bars beneath skewback arches. Slightly advanced centre bay with
4 blocked narrow windows flanking central openings. Added late C18 shallow
porch with a 2-leaf part glazed door and doorcase. Arched fanlight within
an open dentilated pediment on panelled pilasters. Original front door partly
glazed with raised and fielded lower panels and a Y-traceried fanlight. Plain
platband. 3 flat roofed dormers with 2-light windows, metal casements and
leaded glazing. Gables- with tumbling-in. Stacks to gable-ends of wings and
to one gable-end of main block. Later 2 storeyed side extension to main block
and single storeyed outhouses to rear.
