Battleford Hall and the
Cottage

II

House divided into two. Circa C17/18. Stone rubble. Asbestos slate roof with
gabled ends. Two storeys. Long five window range. Left hand end slightly
recessed. C18 three light casements with leaded panes. Right hand first and ground
floor late C19 casement and French window. To right of centre fielded panel door
enclosed in late C19 gabled stone porch with finial. Rebuilt brick chimney stacks
at gable ends. One storey and attic former stable wing projecting at right angles
to left of centre.
