Barn. Early C18. Mixture of brick and flint. Pantiled roof. One storey.
West side with full height double doors flanked by stepped buttresses. Partly
blocked slit ventilation lights. 2 windows to left of door beneath eaves
and 2 to right of doors in middle of wall. Gabled roof. Tumbling in gable
heads. East side with sloping carriage entrance now with later outshuts to
either side. Roof of tie beams on straight braces dropping to wall posts.
Queen struts rise to principals. 2 tiers canted collars and 3 tiers butt
purlins. Straight windbracing. Secondary rafters pegged into purlins. The
Mews is not listed.
