A range of C18 timber-framed and plastered houses with various later alterations.
2 storeys and attics. 9 window range overall. Nos 63 and 65 each have 2 window
range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames. No 63, now
faced in pebbledash, has a small C19 bay shop window. No 65 has a double-bay
on the ground storey, with a recessed doorway. Nos 67-69 have 4 window range,
on the 1st storey mullioned and transomed 3-light casements with leaded lights
and double-hung sashes with margin glazing bars on the ground storey. No 67
has a 6-panel door with a wood doorcase with panelled reveals, fluted pilasters
frieze and cornice. Nos 71 and 73 are pebble-dashed, with 2 window range, double-hung
sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames. Paired central doorways have
architraves and small hoods. Roofs tiled.
The listed buildings form No 37 to No 89 (with Nos 57, 61, 61A)
on the west side form a group with No 24 to No 56A on the east side.
