An early C19 gault brick house which occupies a commanding position facing south-east
on the entrance into Great Baddow. 2 storeys. The south-east front has 5 window
range arranged 2:1:2. The centre part, of 1 window range breaks forward slightly
and is pedimented The windows are double-hung dashes with glazing bars, in stucco
moulded architraves. A central doorway has a portico with Greek fret ornamentation
on the frieze. On the south-west side there is a later corner oriel bay window.
A Wing extends to the north west, with 3 window range. Roof slate, hipped.
