14/46 Old Church Farmhouse

II

Detached farmhouse. Late C17; mid C19 addition and alterations.
Random rubble limestone ashlar dressings; ashlar chimneys; plain
tile roof. Two-storey with attic single-storey rear wing with
attic. Front: 2-window fenestration, all timber casements with
timber lintels. Central doorway with C19 timber framed porch hood
on brackets; 6-panel door. Off-centre gabled roof dormer with
small-paned casement. North end: gable with C19 coping and
kneelers. Single-window off-centre casement fenestration with
timber lintels. Rear: projecting parapet chimney gable to right,
chimney having moulded ashlar shaft. Wing attached to left has
lean-to on north side with pantile roof. C19 casements to wing;
ashlar chimney at gable end of wing. South end: gable with C19
coping and kneelers to main range with single off-centre chamfered
fixed lights. Interior not inspected.
