WEARE GIFFARD SS4622 15/218 Outbuilding approx. 10m W of Weare Giffard Hall. GV. II Outbuilding, former stable and coachouse; tower attached at west (right) end. Coursed slatestone rubble; half-hipped Welsh slate roof to outbuilding and pyramidal Welsh slate roof to tower. Two storeys. Outbuilding has flat stone arch over C20 door to stable on left and timber lintel over double-entry to coachouse on right. Tower to right has 2 chamfered stone-mullioned 2-light windows above doorway with semi-circular stone arch. Included for group value.
