Dimery tomb c11 m south-west of south-west corner, at Church of St Giles

Altar tomb. Early C19. Sandstone. Circular form with deep scroll side cupporters,
fluted domed and moulded top, cavetto base on plinth, fluted in circular section and
all on square stylobate, formerly railed. Upright elliptical inscription panels with
raised mould, and crowned with crisply carbed intertwined branches, supporters carry
high relief carved urn east side, and obelisk, west side. JOHN DIMERY, CLOTHIER,
1801.
A well preserved and sophisticated memorial.
