SY 97 NE WORTH MATRAVERS EASTINGTON

4/97 Main barn at Eastington Farm,
30 m east of the farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Probably late C17. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roofs. Lower range
on north has opposed cart entrances, that on west under lean-to extension. Loft
door in gable wall. Roof of tie and collar beam form. Main range to south - at
right angles to north range has lower section at west end, with remains of
dormer. Higher range east of this has opposed cart entrances. South wall
buttressed. Roof of tie and collar beam form. A National Trust property.
