Lofted cowshed with attached 2 storeyed dwelling C18. Coursed flint with
irregular brick mosaic, brick dressings hipped pantile roof. 4 bay cowshed
plus single bay living accommodation. Cowshed front to south: 2 wide
openings to loft with wooden lozenge mullions, varied ground floor fenestra-
tion including two windows across blocked doorways. Doorway to left. Left
hand return to west: some quoins renewed, some early C18 brick, 2 doorways
to ground floor, that to left renewed; one 3-light window renewed to first
floor. Interior: cowshed with concrete floor and central channel, part loft
supported on massive ties, one removed. Roof renewed except to hips. Ladder
to single room of first floor first bay. Cowshed attached to Old Hall by
single storey range to north; small attached open sided shelter ranges to
2 yards to east separated by concrete wall having small square building in
flint with hipped pantile roof to front. Included for group value.
