Stables now estate offices. c1840 with later alterations. By Decimus
Burton for second Lord Howden. 2-storey, 3-bay pedimented centre with
single-storey, 3-bay wings with central pedimented dormers. Ground floor
has segment-arched arcade with impost band containing stable doors, those to
ends with overlights, and 16-pane sash and casement windows and all openings
segment-arched. First floor of centre range has 6-pane sashes. Open
pediment with central blind oculus and moulded cornice. Wings have low
parapet interrupted by dormer attics with pitching doors and moulded
pediments. Ashlar coping. Side stacks to centre range.
