Piers to drawbridge. C18 with later additions including C20 iron girders of
no special interest. Timber. 5 rows of piers parallel to the bank. Main
supports each of 6 piers with some smaller piers between surmounted by
horizontal braces. Otherwise rows of piers, some of which are missing. The
bridge previously had a double drawbridge in the centre and a gallows
feature. A photograph of it in the Derwent RD Council's guide book shows it
in its unmutilated state.
