Cottage. Cl7, extensively restored mid-C20. Timber-framed with rendered
infill, thatched roof, large external brick chimney at east gable end with
offsets and detached stack. Two framed bays; single storey and attic with
dormers. Framing: irregular panels, mainly 3 from sill to wall-plate, long
straight braces in lower corners and collar and tie-beam trusses with queen
struts and V-struts in apex at gable ends. Front elevation: ground floor
has two C20 two-light casements and a rectangular light, very large "eyebrow"
dormers with 2-light, C20 casements with cambered heads. Attic lights in
gable ends. Main entrance now in single storey wing at east gable end.
Interior not inspected. A large, single storey and attic, rendered extension
adjoins to rear left.
