House, early-mid C18 with alterations. Coursed sandstone, some roughly herring-
bone-tooled, some not tooled at all. Pantiled roof with stone ridge and brick
stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays, very irregular. Right 4-panel door under bracketed
quasi-cornice. At left two 12-pane sashes on each floor, in wood box frames
with projecting stone cills, those on ground floor with pintles for external
shutters. Small modern casement inserted at first floor left. Wide C20 roof
dormer with plain casements. Left end chimney.
