Description


MAGDALENE STREET 1. 1133 (East Side) 12.7.73. No 19 (Abbey Grange), - including walls and piers to forecourt ST 4938 7/75 II GV 2. Frontage set back. Probably C18. 2 storeys. Painted ashlar front. Slate roof with C19 cresting, eaves. Stringcourse. 5 windows, sashes with close-set glazing bars. Bolection-moulded architrave to recessed door with plain fanlight. Paved forecourt to front of house. 2 gatepiers in centre of low walls along street. Piers have low pyramidal tops. Double wooden gates. Further pier to left. Nos 19 to 23 (odd) and Nos 1 to 6 (consec) The Armoury all form a group.
