Late C18 house of 2 storeys (? on site of earlier house). Ground floor,
modern shop_front and covered passage-way; upper floor plastered and ending
in a parapet below a steep tiled roof with square dormers. The facade
above the ground floor in two unequal sections, each of 1 window, each
fully plastered and each separately bound with long-and-short quoins.
The broader section has a gently curved central bow which rims right
up into the coping of the parapet; the broad bow-window is of C19 3-light
type.
Nos 16 to 26 (consec) form a group.
