House. c.1800 rebuilding of a C17 house. Stuccoed brick. Shallow pitched
roof, slate front, tiles to rear. 2 storeys. 4 window front. 2 bay bow
just off centre. 12 pane sashes in reveals. Entrance to left, reeded
jambs, segmental fanlight, hood. 1 bay to left of entrance with 16-pane
sashes. To right a 12 pane sash over a carriage entrance with double
doors. Loosely Corinthian corner pilasters to first floor. Deep boxed
eaves. Cross axial ridge stack to right of centre. 16-pane sashes to
rear. Interior not inspected. Blue plaque on front wall commemorates
Lucy Kemp-Welch, artist and pupil of H.Herkomer, she lived here.
