The Manor

House, now 2 dwellings. Early C18 with later sub-division and additions.
Squared stone, whitewashed; pantile roof; brick stacks. Originally 3-cell,
hearth-passage plan, with rear outshut added. 2-storeys, 5 first floor
windows. C20 half-glazed door to right of centre, with blocked fire window
to left. 3-light C20 casement to right of door, with 2 similar to left.
5 windows the same to first floor. All windows have thin timber lintels.
The ends of tie beams, carved with masks, are visible at eaves level. Coped
gables and kneelers. 2 end and 1 centre stacks. Interior: tile bressumer,
heck and witchpost remain in the centre ground floor room.
