Public house. C17, extended early C18, altered C19 and extended C20.
Timber frame, part brick cased. Rendered and whitewashed. Tiled roofs. 3
bays with taller parallel range added to front. 2 storeys. Ground floor:
central entrance in reveal, C19 canted bay to right, long 15 pane sash
to left. 2 first floor 3 light casements. External end stacks with
offsets. Double gable returns. 1 storey and attic rear range with
continuous outshut with catslide to rear. Dentilled brick eaves to rear.
Right return: 2 light casements, exposed wall plate. To rear left a 2
bay timber framed, weatherboarded out-building with a central clasped
purlin truss. C20 extensions to left not of special interest.
