House. Early to mid-C19. Brick with plain tiled roof, kneeler brackets
to gable verges and integral end brick stacks with drip moulds. Two
storeys and attic with gabled dormers. Three bays, the central one pro-
jects slightly and contains the main entrance. Tudor Gothic detailing.
Front elevation: windows and door have hoodmould with returns; windows
are glazing bar sashes; large gables above each bay have a 2-course band
set above and corbelled out from the main eaves level; each gable contains
a round-lobed quatrefoil light; entrance door is part-glazed. Interior
not inspected. Above the first floor window of the entrance bay is a
Norwich Union fire insurance mark. The house is of similar design and
contemporary with Kelso and The Storks (qv).
