House, now 2 houses. C16, E bay C17, SE rear extension 1950s. Timber
frame roughcast painted at front, E part painted brick, frame with
painted brick infill exposed in conservatory at rear of Saddlers (E
house). Steep old red tile roofs. A 2-storeys 4 windows long building
facing N with 2 doorways under small gabled tiled hoods. 2 large
internal chimneys. LH ground floor window blocked. 2-light small-pane
casement windows to 1st floor: 3-light flush small-pane casements to
ground floor. Older LH door 4-panel moulded in heavy frame with moulded
surround and shaped brackets supporting hood with wavy bargeboard. W
house formerly a saddler's shop with double doors to gateway in W bay.
Interior has original 2-bays crown-post roofed structure probably
originally open to roof. Large open fireplace with C16 moulded lintel.
