GV II

House. C17. Timber frame roughcast on stucco plinth. Steep old
red tile roofs. A compact 2-storeys square house facing W with N
crosswing and parallel-roofed ranges extending to S. Lobby entry
central on W beside large central chimney. Large external
chimney with tiled oven projection on E side. S wall rebuilt in
C19 in stuccoed red brick with floor band and segmental arches to
2 recessed sash windows with 3/3 panes and side door.
Symmetrical W front with 2 windows to each floor and central
door. Flush box sash windows with moulded surround and 8/8
panes. 4-panel flush beaded door in moulded surround. Outline
of former gabled porch. Side-purlin roof structure.
