House, sometime The Swan Inn. Early C18 or older, renovated in
early C19. Timber frame on low stuccoed sill, roughcast. NE
angle rusticated and N end plastered and extended to rear as one
of matching corners formed when Norfolk Road was cut through.
Steep red tiled roof with deep moulded eaves cornice.
Symmetrical front 2 windows wide with central door. Small 2-
light Yorkshire sliding casements with small panes to upper
windows. Triple flush box sash windows with small panes and
hoods over on Ground floor. 4-panel half-glazed door up 2 steps
with moulded surround and full entablature. Central chimney,
lobby-entry plan with rear wing at NW.
