GV II
Wall. C17-C18. Red sandstone random rubble, flat coping, about 1 metre high. Continued from No 1 Church Cottage (qv) as
boundary wall of churchyard and returned South East to No 3 Church Cottages (qv); wall continued from No 2 Church
Cottages (qv) to junction with churchyard wall and closed by wooden gate (not included). Links 2 parallel ranges of
cottages that form an important backdrop to the Church of St Peter (qv), some 5 metres to the North, all the more
relevant since the latter has no memorials in its tiny churchyard.
