Gates, gatepiers, railings, dwarf wall and wall to Williton Hospital (qv). Circa 1838, presumably by Scott and Moffatt.
Cast iron, Bath stone, red sandstone random rubble. Gate: double gate, fleurs-de-lys hooded standards, ramped down to
centre, cast iron pedimented gatepiers flanked by wicket gate. Gate piers: Bath stone ashlar, flat topped, moulded
cornices and plinths. Railings set in dwarf walls: fleurs-de-lys headed standards set in low dwarf random rubble wall
with flat sandstone coping, swept back for entrance and fronting road with outer piers. Red sandstone random rubble
wall on returns, swept up from piers to about 3 metres, square headed openings.
