Cottage. Mid C17. Squared and coursed local stone; thatched roof gable
end chimneys of brick, one with stone base. "L"-plan: Single-storey with
attic; now gable entry on East side. Thatched wooden porch of early C20
protecting a C18 door: to rear 2 and 3-light casement windows. Original
entrance now forms access into North extension: Lean-to on West side.
Inside a small recased winding stair with stairlight over the porch; end
fireplace with cambered bead; deep raised end chamfered beams. Was
village police station in l920's.
