Two dwellings. C16, C17, and late C18, with minor C19 and C20 alterations
and additions. A timber-framed 3 bay house, with a wing at right-angles,
forming an L-shape, and another L-shaped unit within the angle; 2 storeys
and 1 storey and attic, irregular fenestration. The west elevation (being
the original part) has 3 gabled dormers with cills at eaves level, brick walls
of Flemish (some English) band, with cambered openings and high plinth (on a
stone base). Casements, and plain doorways. C17 fireplace, with oven. The
north elevation is a lower 2 storeyed range of 3 windows, eastwards from the
north gable of the original unit: red brickwork in English bond with cambered
openings, and plinth above a stone base: the upper part of the gables has
bricknogged framing and the lower is malmstone with brick dressings. Case-
ments; 2 boarded doors. The south and east sides have a complex form, the
walls of malmntone ashlar with brick quoin and plinth; casements and plain
doors.
