Gatehouse. Circa 1500. Randon local limestone rubble, plain tile roof. 2-storeys, all window openings blocked apart
from left side of ground floor. Arched entry slightly left of centre; moulded Tudor arch, carved spandrels and label,
corbelling above with blocked panel, probably retains of oriel. Tudor arch doorway within passage. Double chamfer
depressed arch to rear probably also c1500. Rear has stone steps to first floor doorway on left side, chamfered Tudor
arch; similar blocked opening to right of stairs below. Corbelled chimney breast to left of arch, plain doorway over
arch. Interior of 4-bays retains original roof trusses, one raised cruck with arch brace. Walls partially plastered;
fireplace in heavily chamfered Tudor arch surround.
