Pair of cottages, now one dwelling. Mid C19. Irregularly coursed, squared, red sandstone, double Roman tile gabled roofs with decorative bargeboards, brick stacks. L-plan. One and a half storeys, 1:1 bays, sash windows with marginal glazing bars, first floor window on right breaks through the eaves, gabled top with decorative bargeboards. Entrance in left-hand gabled wing, gabled porch with decorative ridge tiles, bargeboards and finial, four panel door with tripartite rectangular glazed opening above. There is evidence of a blocked opening ground floor left.
The railway line from Taunton to Watchet opened in 1862. The building is shown on historic mapping as Station Cottages, and it is an attractive survival complete with all its trimmings.
