Open hall house, now shop. Probably C14 or C15, extensively re-modelled
during C19 with later additions and alterations, principally of mid-C20.
Rendered and roughcast brick concealing timber frame, partly of cruck
construction, plain tile roof and end stack to left. Former open hall of
three bays with first floor inserted c.1600 and eaves raised in C19. Two storeys;
3-window front, C20 casements; roughly central entrance with C20 shop
window to left. INTERIOR: ground floor has massive cross-beamed ceiling
with deep hollow chamfering; three true cruck trusses with arch bracing and
