Detached cottage. Early C19. Local stone rubble; thatched roof with plain gables; brick end chimney stacks. Two
storeys, 3 bays. Above, 2-light horizontal-bar casement windows of early pattern with iron-framed opening lights; below
small-pane casement windows, also 2-light, under timber lintols, to outer bays: to centre bay a red brick and thatched
porch with C20 boarded outer door. Small timber and brick lean to with double Roman clay tiled roof against east gable.
