Farmhouse. Late C16, altered mid C20. Render, slate roof, external rendered
stack right. 2 storeys, 3 bays; fenestration irregularly placed, 5-light
casement with glazing bars ground floor right, pair of 2-light casements above,
2 other extreme left of gabled left-hand bay, all C20. Central plank door with
glazed centre, rustic wooden porch late C19. Right return elevation, small
2-light ovolo moulded mullion window with hood mould 1st floor left of external
stack lighting original staircase bay, 4-light mullioned window right ground
floor beside external steps leading to loft door, latter with hood mould. Left
return elevation has fine late C16, early C17, studded door in 4-centred arch
doorway with decorated spandrels, moulded jambs with bulbous stops. Interior:
two 4-centred arch doorways; small central courtyard with 3-light ovolo moulded
unglazed mullioned window lst floor; two 4-centred arch fireplaces with moulded
wooden lintels.
