C17, altered. Refaced C19 in red brick. Steeply pitched tiled roof with 2 box
dormers. 2 storeys and attics, 2 nearly flush sash windows under cambered arches.
5 panel central door, 2 middle panels fielded, in surround under box hood on cut
brackets. Decorative wrought iron 1st floor bracket carrying inn sign. Cross
gable on left plastered over wide carriageway with exposed timbers. Timber framed
oversailing 1st floor to yard at back.
Nos 80 to 98 (even) 84A, 86A and 92A form a group.
